Vote For John McCain, By Pirate Joe, 30
October 2008
If you
think that the war in Iraq is a good idea and worth 10 billion dollars
per month in taxes (and) debt plus interest to Red China,
vote for John McCain.
After all folks, he told us
“there’s gonna be lots of wars” and that he’s willing to stay in
Iraq for 100 years.
If you think
nuclear power is “clean and green” and can’t wait to get a Chernobyl or
Three Mile Island in your back yard,
vote for John McCain.
Yes, nuclear power sure is green. Just
look at it glow.
If you
believe in a totally unregulated market, and laud the recent successes
on Wall Street, feel that we should make the rich richer, while
we wait for something to “trickle down” to you,
vote for John McCain.
Rush Limbaugh agrees: he just signed a
400 million dollar contract.
If you
believe in more free trade agreements, and the “outsourcing” that goes
with them,
vote for John McCain.
After all, he said it himself: “we need
more free trade agreements”
If you
believe that the government handing money to the rich is O.K., but if
they hand it to you, that’s socialism,
vote for John McCain.
He’s worn the word out, hasn’t he?
If you
believe John Wayne is the correct model for world diplomacy,
Shoot first. Ask questions if there’s
anyone left to ask them of.
If Ronald
Reagan is your hero, too,
vote for John McCain.
This won’t George Bush’s third term, it
will be Ronald Reagan’s sixth.
If you
believe that George Bush is the greatest president we’ve ever had,
vote for John McCain.
He voted with Bush over 90% of the
time. Any doubts?
If you
believe that everyone should live their lives according to the rules of
the religious right, and in the end of a woman's right to choose,
vote for John McCain.
Who knows? Maybe we can bring back the
Inquisition!
If you
believe that all laws should be re-written to favour big corporations,
vote for John McCain.
Uh, how big is that tax break for Big
Oil? Did you see their profit reports today? (30 October 2008)
And finally,
if you just love a good Sarah Palin
rally:
vote for John MKKKain.
Well, did he stop the “kill him”
chants? That sort of thing belongs in a Nazi rally in the Germany of
1933, not the America of 2008.
But if you believe
in the real American dream, if you believe that this great country can
be a shining beacon to the world once again; if you believe that we
will stand for decency and fairness once more; if you believe that the
Constitution of the United States of America was the framework for the
greatest, most egalitarian and humane nation the world has seen or will
ever see, if you want the name “United States of America” to be revered
and admired throughout the world, (as it once was) if you want “liberty
and justice for all” then there’s only one choice:
VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA!
